DO YOU BELIEVE THAT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE WEALTHY ENOUGH SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO FUND GOOD CAUSES?
No, I don't believe that only wealthy people should fund good causes, the people who are not rich but can save some money they can also fund good causes by some NGO's, orphanages, the organisations or associations by providing them with some money like we pay for movie tickets. There are some popular NGOs like goonj, childline India, a rescue foundation, kahta etc. these types of NGOs don't ask pay only the fixed amount written here but they say us that please pay at least or more than 100rs or 50rs and in fact, there is money scroll option so we can only fix the money how much we want to give the NGOs, orphanages, the organisations or the associations.
Yes, we have the right to expect that the wealthy people should fund for good causes because the government also gets some money from them as they have to pay a high amount of taxes to the citizens. Rich people do not have a "responsibility" to "help" the poor, and it is somewhat inaccurate to characterize the situation in this way. They are wealthy enough to provide some money to needy people but they only buy costly things to show off themselves in social media and waste their money into it.
But we also cannot force them to provide some amount because it's their choice and we cannot interrupt in their life but instead we can request them by saying them to help or provide some funds to NGOs, orphanages, the organisations or associations. No one, individual, community or nation has any such obligation. However, individuals, communities and nations engage in philanthropy for a myriad of reasons, from simple charity to investment in a hoped-for future return.
Nations engage in foreign aids or properties perhaps to increase their development in hope that there will be an outcome for them to make a new market or company or branch, to strengthen their economy and diplomatic ties only with friendly countries. Communities may engage in philanthropy by providing with them some basic needs etc. Individuals may engage in some charitable giving out of a desire to help an aspiring entrepreneur get started (maybe/maybe not getting a share of their future success), to help fund education or trade schools (our quality of life depends on a pool of skilled individuals available to keep the lights and the heat on, as well as to potentially invent the next generations of medicine and technology), or to international aid organizations and domestic charities for causes, they believe important, either out of a personal system of values or as a religious duty, such as tithing.
